Our History

Life Point Community Church began in 2007 with a small handful of believers who met in an old church building in Marksville. From the very beginning of the church, the main focus has been on loving God, loving people, and serving the world. Life Point is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Louisiana Baptist Convention, and Louisiana Baptist Association. We are a multiracial congregation that seeks to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Part of Life Point’s DNA is meeting needs through compassion ministries. We believe that it is crucial for the church to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. God has gifted every believer with unique gifts that he or she can use to meet needs and build up the body of Christ. From its humble beginnings, Life Point is now a growing congregation of over 250 people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
